Turning collective voices into meaningful change, we advocate for you.
PSAC Local 902, established in 2019, is the union representing Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTAs) at Wilfrid Laurier University. We advocate for fair pay, safe and respectful working conditions, and strong protections through collective bargaining and workplace representation. Our mission is to ensure graduate workers are supported, respected, and empowered in their teaching and academic roles.
Serving approximately 300 GTAs, PSAC 902 is a member‑driven union built on solidarity and collaboration. We work to uphold our collective agreement, defend members’ rights, and create meaningful, lasting improvements in the workplace.
Whether you are new to teaching or an experienced GTA, PSAC 902 is here to represent you, support you, and strengthen your voice at Wilfrid Laurier University.
We have a variety of committees dedicated to representing GTAs interests, supporting members, and strengthening our collective voice
